So this is our cottage, the place we are currently hanging our hats.
Isn't it sweet?
We think so.
We have had a few challenges with the cottage but everything appears to be coming together. They still have not found the time to come fetch the lock box yet and I actually think they may have forgotten about it all together. Anyway, the house was built in 1911 and is just as cute as can be. Here is a picture of the front of the house. Not too much sidewalk (easier to shovel in the winter) and the front door opens to a little sun porch.
We have all been working on little projects around here this weekend. I painted the frames on the pictures I had painted so they would be fairly uniform.
Before...
After ...
Daughter and Little Companion like the look, kind of white distressed, and it goes with the feel of the cottage.
A very happy Labor Day to you!
Hope you are able to have a little fun and sun as we head into September!

Hi Valerie! Your cottage is precious! I'm so glad you've shown it. Your frames look so nice and I see a really pretty tea set on that cart! Would love to see more of your little cottage! OH, yes I forgot - the projects were just at the first! :)
Thanks for popping in to see my kitchen.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
What an adorable little cottage Valerie. It looks so charming and I just love the color of it. So shabby chic. I could easily see myself living in a cute little house like that. It's way cuter than my bland and boring on the outside quad home/townhouse. Mine just looks like an ugly old box with windows. I hope you'll be sharing more pictures of the inside as you complete all your little decorating projects. I'd love to see more.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Kim
