White Doily

It's Thursday and that means it is DOILY DAY!

This week's pattern is called Peacock Pride and came from the book Absolutely Gorgeous Doilies by Leisure Arts.

Here it is on top of last week's doily.

I worked this in white with a #7 crochet hook.

I'm thinking by the time we leave Alaska I should have enough doilies to cover any potential doily need!

Happy Thursday!

I think they are beautiful and would look lovely on a tea tray or layered up on a mantle!

Such beautiful work Valerie. I envy you your skill and patience in doing such fine and intricate work. As much as I've always dreamed of learning how to crochet, I know it will never happen as I just don't have any patience myself to working on something like that. I'll just have to keep admiring yours instead :)

Wow, Valerie, your work sure is beautiful, gal! What a lovely talent you have!

I want to thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers! You have a sweet heart that I appreciate so much! God is answering the prayers and helping me to be joyful anyway!!

I LOVE this photo tour of Alaska, and if it's ok with you on my next post I want to tell people about it, so they can come enjoy your amazing photos. Is that ok?

Hope you have a wonderful week. Know that you're a blessing to me!
Love and hugs,
Becky

Hi Valerie, when I was a kid, my Mom had dolies all over the house and furniture. She made all of them. I still have some of them, in a sealed bag.
Do you live in Alaska?

Hugs,
Chris

Hi Becky,
Thank you for your kind comments and yes it would be very nice of you to mention me on your blog!

Hi Chris,
We are in Alaska for 3 months as my daughter is on contract for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital here. So, it is kind of a working vacation.
