Today I am sharing my "where it all began teacup and saucer."
This is China Garden Prestige pattern.
I have had this china set for most of my adult life (since I was about 22 or 23). This was one of the patterns you picked up in the grocery store, if you bought enough groceries then you could buy a piece at a discount price. I didn't have much money (raising 4 kids at that point) and we didn't go through that much food at the time (kids were little), so I asked my work friends and family to help and then would pay them back the discounted price. I ended up with a huge set with about 15 place settings. This is the set my kids (5 of them) grew up on. This set of dishes has been all over the US with us and none of the dishes have ever broken during a move.

Very pretty china! I enlarged the picture -- such pretty blue and pink flowers. I'm impressed you had this through 4 kids and through moves, and no breakage. You must be a VERY good packer!

Such a dainty teacup love the softness of it. I know about moving and packing so there are no broken dishes at the end . We have moved 9 times with all my china etc. Nice you still have these with lots of memories.
Beautiful teacup Valerie. I love the delicate blue and pink flowers on it. They are just the perfect shades of my two favorite colors.
What's even better is reading your sweet story about how you aquired your pretty china and how it has lasted for so long even with all of your moves. I think it's great that you still have these pretty dishes and that they hold such wonderful memories for you..
