Tea Things Tuesday

It's Tuesday and Kim at http://shabbypinkandpretty.blogspot.com is hosting another party for us!
*
Today I'm sharing my Dubarry Teapot by Homer Laughlin. This teapot was made in 1940 and is of the Eggshell Nautilus collection.

The teacup is Homer Laughlin Cashmere and has the Eggshell Georgian shape.

The teapot is in excellent condition and of course was made in the USA.

Happy Tea Things Tuesday!!

That teapot and teacup are gorgeous! My sister has a set of eight in the plates and serving pieces, but no teapot or cups...she would be so jealous,so I won't tell her about yours...maybe I can find them and surprise her for Christmas!

Blessings,
Mary

Oh, Valerie,
I absolutely love the Georgian eggshell by HL. I have a few pieces but not many. These dishes always reminded me of something my grandmother would have had. The teapot is just beautiful! Thank you so much for coming by for a cup of tea today! Blessings to you! Vicki

Great teapot Valerie. I love Homer Laughlin china. So many pretty floral patterns. I see the teacups, plates and berry bowls quite frequently in these patterns, but this is the first time I've ever seen one of the teapots. So pretty!! Gotta tell you, I love that vase too. I have several similar ones in my collection which I've shown on my blog. Nice to see that I'm not the only one who loves them.

Have a great week!!
